At 1st when I watched I had SRL winning but after seeing it a few times more, I couldn't see how SRL won that fight. To me, everyone and probably the judges fell in love with his character

People who vote Hagler are seriously biased....a draw is the best he could have hoped for......

The fight was really close but Leonard stole most of those close rds with flurries, he fought smarter.

First time I watched it 116-112 Leonard, second time 115-113. The 118-110 score was ridiculous though.

Funny you should say that, it's the opposite for me.

While I do agree Hagler landed that harder punches throughout the fight, Leonard scored the points when he needed to. Hagler was often too slow to give off any meaningful punches of his own, while Leonard who didn't throw the hardest punches in the world, did.

            That made the difference IMO.

Ask me who inflicted the most damage? Hagler, without a doubt.

114-114, but I thought I gave more close rounds to Leonard than Hagler.

Hagler had some of his bodywork overlooked.

Jo Jo Guerra should've been banned for life after having it 10-2.

I had Leonard winning 115-113 because Hagler wasted the early rounds trying to outboxing Leonard on the outside. After the first four of so rounds he went back to his own style and had much more success, especially when Leonard's legs started tiring late on.

If it had been a 15-round fight (something Leonard demanded it wasn't in the contract!) Hagler would most likely have won.

i had it 115-113 for haggler, he had to chase him around the ring, he was the aggressor and he threw the harder cleaner shots..

115-113 for SRL, im a huge hagler fan but i just think that at times he didn't do enough and was p!ssinga around with the orthodox stance at the start of the fight, that cost him the first 2/3 rounds as well.

if it was a 15 round fight (which is what hagler wanted) and if hagler stuck to the proper gameplan there is no doubt in my mind that hagler would win a hard fought and close but nonetheless unanimous decision.
