  • Frank Warren signals Referee to stop fight [EVIDENCE]

Warren gives the signal at 2:04 approx...

Check for him in the centre of the front row. He motions for the referee to pay attention to the cut. Then watch the referee wait a few seconds so as not to make it obvious.

Now, do you think it is right that the winning fighter's promoter should have enough authority as to lead the referee to take another inspection. Maybe it's right...maybe its wrong??

Except he had already checked it in round 4. Did Warren tell him to check it then?

        (hint: no)

He wasn't really signalling for it, he was yelling at the referee to check it. But, if you had a fighter and wanted him to win with that much on the line, you'll yell and do whatever you can. The referee listening really isn't Warrens fault.

Keep in mind, I think Warren is a ****.

Yeah because Amir would not have gotten the win if it was stopped in four....

After four it was a different story.....

Let's say they stopped it in one round.

How would that have made either look better, including Barrera? Barrera knew he could be cut again. He fought on. Decided not to wait. They let him have a chance to actually show he could win. Blood or not, at this stage, he doesn't look like he could have with three eyes.

Does it really matter? Barrera was taking a beating even before the blood started going in his eye. Parris checking the cut before then kind of makes this silly doesn't it because it's not like he waited. By the way, it's the ring doctor who decides when to stop the fight. Barrera looked like he wanted to go on anyway. If Khan's chin is so weak, then why couldn't Barrera rush him and knock him out even with blood in his eye?

Because he can't. Marco is to far gone and Amir was to good for him.
