Chavez would hunt him down. Chavez was excellent at cutting the ring down. Hatton would take even more punishment imo, if he tried to box Chavez, because he would get tired from moving,and with Chavez hitting his body it would be over.

Chavez is a better Boxer than Hatton anyway.

How much of a beast was J C Chavez in his prime at 140? if you run away from him, he would hunt you down. You could not seem to hurt the mofo, and he would rip you a new *******, if you went toe to toe with him. He absolutely battered Edwin Rosario.

Taylor/Whitaker did a great job, and should of won though.

a prime chavez would ko hatton within 8-9 rounds easily.

Basically, you gotta be an exceptional, exceptional fighter to even come close to beating a prime JCC at 140 pounds. Hatton might have been the best at the weight over the past 5 years but he doesn't even come close to matching up against Chavez IMO. It would be a very very one-sided fight.
