Amir Khan has improved from the days where he was getting rocked by jabs due to poor defense and such.

So until I see him rocked and in trouble under Freddy Roach then you can make a fair assesment but everyone continues to ignore the improvements made and say "HEZ GOONA geh KTFO 1!!!!!1!1.

Yea everyone has the possibility of getting KD/KO like Pacman, Roy Jones and Lennox Lewis all have fallen in different times and circumstances.

I don't mean necessarily win, but he would do better because he would have been more cautious and have a better game plan... so that's what I mean by he would do better now due to being with Roach.

Wow. Doesn't take much for some people to get carried away.

After seeing the Ventura and Rojas fights, it was clear a tight guard and a grain of strategy would see Khan's physical attributes dominate the fight with his jab and speed. No great surprises, then, but you can't fault him. If he was gonna win, you wanted to see him win accomplished.
Would have been a lot better for him, though, had the cut not happened and he'd gotten more rounds under his belt and demonstrated the same concentration and composure over the distance against a Barrera who didn't have a mess of blood gushing down his face for almost the duration of the fight. Not that I don't think Khan does the job just the same, but it would have been a better experience for him and proved more.

Fight was ruined for the neutral in the first round by the cut, being obvious it would be a cause for stoppage. Kind of a sickener, because I'd been looking forward to it the last fortnight after not really being too jazzed when it was first announced.

He's not ready for a Prescott rematch yet. To soon, not enough accomplished rounds under his belt since. He needs incrementally sterner tests without being fed clearly overmatched patsies at the same time. Anthony Mezaache would be a good step for him.

That fight would be massive in the UK now.
Exactly, Khan needs to stick with Roach and he will be every bit as good as Manny is now. He would crush Prescott as long as he is patient.

The way Khan walked in like he did last time, anyone would have been KO'd. It was ridiculous what he did. I'm pretty sure he won't do the same mistake again.

                      Agreed.

But, I think Khan needs to fight or at least spar with some decent taller opponents first. I think that ****ed him over. He was too eager to close the distance.
