    Small fighters...

I was randomly thinking of being quite the short guy myself, and when going to Boxing what kind of styles could I get tips from and obviously thought it would be from smaller fighters who are quite small in there weight classes... and randomly started thinking of what kinda small fighters there are in Boxing.

Have you got any? List as many good small Boxers you can and a reason of why they are good.

I know this is random and all but I thought it would be a good idea to talk about something random and new on Boxing, after all we are just hearing the same things over and over again about different fighters.

108 Calderon is five tall and a complete bad ass. Has zero knockout power but owns guys with speed and technical savvy.

112 Nonito Donaire- good puncher pretty hook, waylaid Darchinyan

122 Izzy Vasquez is a warrior who gets off the deck to annihilate people.

There's a ton of great short fighters too many to mention here..

Then historically you have the Ricardo Lopez's, Michael Carabajal all the way back to Pancho Villa and Jimmy Wilde.

A ****load of badasses that are wee guys.

Not really, I am only 5'4"... like I say I would like to, well not emulate somebodies style but take tips from a fighter who deals with being a smaller one if you get my drift? Obviously nobody can copy somebodies style completely but gain tips from them.

I will have a look at him I have heard he is a VERY good and talented fighter, thanks buddy!

Well I am yet to have a fight, I have only been going Boxing for 6 weeks... but I thought it would be a good idea to see smaller fighters now and get tips from various pros while listening to the trainers to help give me a boost if you know what I mean?

I think last time I checked about 6 month ago I was 9 stone, but the scales have broke since then so I haven't been able to weigh myself.
