      it works both ways.. tarver and johnson didnt make the fight..
      when joe was 26, he was knocking out fighters spark out.

        Would any of them have fought a Welsh fighter nobody had even heard of in the US for the WBO belt when JC was 26... HELLLLL no. They didn't want to know... nobody even knew who he was until he beat Lacy. When Calzaghe was in his prime Johnson was the only one who was interested... and was the only one who 'deserved' a fight with him before retired (not that that means anything) IMHO.

          The Eubank fight came before he was 26. That's a better win than 40 year old versions of Tarver and Johnson, IMO.
