More people attended Khan vs Barrera than Margarito vs Mosely. I think the UK can put on big fights.

Why would he need to go to America for respect? LOL.

        A ring is a ring.

Why are the Euros acting scared?..

I mean it's obvious that to prove he's the best he has to leave home to do so..

Hardcore fans shouldn't be the only ones who matter..Nobody knows who Haye is outside of the UK and hardcore boxing fans...same thing with Calzaghe until he came and beat Hopkins and RJJ but we all know..they were basically 40 years old +...so he still left doubt in even the hardcore boxing fans..who aren't british of course..

Now Hatton came to make a name for himself at 147 and won a close (some might say controversial) decision against Collazo..and than got KTFO by Mayweather jr..some might argue that 147's just not his weightclass (I agree) but he still got more shine in the UK than he might've gotten here..

Look at Jennings..went 32-1 in the UK came over to the US and got demolished like if he was an amateur...why over protect these guys to get exposed later?..

I think Khan has great potential..and could be BIG in the sport..but not if his next 10 fights remain in Europe..he won't have that Worldwide recognition..

And let's be serious..USA will always be the mecca of Boxing..no matter how you try to put it.

Can you tell me where Calzaghe, Lewis, and Hatton had to go to make the most money in their career?

he needs a to fight a world champion for a world title to gain respect..
he doesn't need to fight in the U.S.
