That's the cycle of Mexican boxing. The young lions feast on the old lions and keep it going strong, except in the Diaz-Marquez fight of course. However, Diaz will only benefit from fighting JMM and should be scary to the rest of the LW division, even though his character and skill don't allow him to be labeled so.Comment

The mexican was the winner in this fight big man.Cristian Mijares got upset last night in a comeback fight.
Oscar Larios lost his title Thursday
Marco Antonio Barrera lost in England
Marco Antonio Rubio got beat up by Kelly Pavlik
Juan Diaz got ko'd by Juan Manuel Marquez
Jorge Arce took a beating from Vic Darchinyan
Antonio Margarito took a beating from Shane Mosley and his legacy is ruined.
Juan Manuel Marquez, Israel Vasquez, and Humberto Soto is who are left.Comment

I don't think that Juan Diaz getting knocked out by JMM would be a blow to Mexican boxing. Especially seeing as Marquez is Mexican, born and raised, and Diaz was born in Houston, Texas. When the two fought I think it was kind of obvious who had Mexico's support.Comment
