That ratio is fairly good considering that the sport has died in this country over the last 20 -30 years.

More people participate and follow Football, Cricket, Golf, Rugby etc

Also sports like Darts and Snooker.

Northern Ireland is part of the UK, the Republic of Ireland is a country in its own right.

I live in Leeds in England which is like the 5th biggest city in the UK, and there is only 1 or 2 boxing gyms in the whole city. Boxing is very much a minor sport in Britain.
