Did the cut really affect Barrera?

What would you guys thing the outcome of the fight could have been if Khan had suffered that cut instead of barrera?

This probably clarifies some of my doubts about if the cut really made a difference on the outcome.

Ok if Khan sufferd that cut without a doubt the doc would have said he cant carry on because the blood was running into his eye affecting his vision and as we know the ref under these circumstances has to call the fight off its not like it was running mainly around the eye it was dripping directly into it. just imagine fighting at any level let alone this level unable to see anything coming in from the left side ?

I think Khan shown that he was the better fighter on the night anyway, but the cut didn't help what so ever.

95% of fighters would have stopped with that cut and had taken a no decision. Barrera has some serious balls but we already knew that.
Still, Barrera would have probably lost with or without a cut. He just didn't have the speed, and Khan has made some serious defensive improvements

Im sure the cut on barrera affected Barrera, being he just suffered a cut prior too this fight. I think if Khan being green still dealing with a cut and a old pro like Barrera,would have been different. he would know what to do with that cut. Dont know if it would have been enough for him to win though. Barrera is getting stiff.

Cut or not cut, Khan would have won anyways. It would have been a closer fight maybe, but IMO Barrera had no chance tonight.

If khan had had the cut they wud never have stopped it. we;re sadistic over here, they wudve have kept him going until it was clear he couldnt function properly.. He has a lot of backing, theyre not gonna let that go over a cut to the eye.
