cleverly left him, it's a shame, he might have been his ticket to the top again.

Lets make one thing clear here! Enzo Calzaghe was never a world class trainer. He wasn't that good of a trainer full stop!

He was a motivator, big difference.

You can't blame him for Maccarinelli's loss, anyone can see Mac just doesn't have enough ability. Rees doesn't either - Enzo may have taken him farther than any other trainer.

Cleverly, on the other hand, is very talented.

            Hasn't Cleverly left him?

Enzo will alway be on the cusp of world-class so he is still a major fighter for Enzo. But that is all.

I always knew Enzo lacked some technical ability, insights, orthodox training as in moves, and overall defence.

But made up with it by really bringing the best out in guys, making them better than other trainers might be able to. A feat in itself.

However, on all those said area's, he's worse then I thought, and getting worse. Too many in his gym have god awful defence to the point it's un acceptable, really is.

Floyd Snr could teach them more about defence in a week.

Mac has plenty of talent, but he overtrained and did not make weight properly for this fight.

Hes is still a good trainer he is just low on talent at the moment, once he sees another fighter with great potential he will be back on the massive stage.
