Khan beat a one eyed old man...

I take nothing away from him, he was outstanding tonight. Picked his shots well and used his youth, athleticism and hand speed to bully the older fighter.

He didn't, however, land many CLEAN shots on MAB. That is a worrying sign, as the only thing Khan really has is a great offensive game (yes, he tightened up his defense tonight, but MAB was blind in one eye for the entire fight, and still caught him once or twice).

At world class level, Khan is going to come up against somebody that can neutralise his offensive game and expose the flaws in his defense that are still there to be exploited.

IF Barrera hadn't been cut, we might have seen a different fight, but that's boxing, and it was still an impressive win for Khan, even though I am still unconvinced.

Good Post. Another thing, MAB was in a win-win situation. If he wins, great, he's back. If he loses, he's old and shot. Khan won't be getting too much credit for his victory.

After such a big build up, I'm disappointed. As much as I want to see Khan do well, tonight didn't show us anything more than we already know. Considering how the fight was won, it means very little.

It showed us he snaps his hands back up to his head after he throws a punch.

It shows that he doesn't just pile in when he has a guy on the ropes.

          Khan was very poised.

It was sad Barrera got cut, but Khan had all the aces anyway.

I agree. Although I thought Khan showed a decent defensive improvement.

OMG you see! This is exactly what I've been saying! People were all over saying Khan was inexperienced and will get school, kod whatever however if Khan wins he just beat an old bum. People just seem to never appreciate Khan for whatever he does. Go get a life dude.

Khan was never gonna get any sort of credit for beating Barrera tonight, regardless of how he won that fight!

That's one thing we do know.

The 'cut' just gives the many who backed Barrera to win this fight the carrot to chew on.
