Just wondering what all the praise for this kid beating a old legend. The man is 35 with a total of 73 fights, not to mention Amateur fights. What is it with UK fighters beating up old legend of the sport to get a name. and to claim it was great. They don't get out much or something. Its sicking . Especially when Ring don't even rate him in the top ten.
does ANYONE understand BARRERA is OLD???

This was agood win for Khan nothing more, nothing less. It's about what does from this point onwards that counts. We shouldn't judge him yet.Comment

What is actually sickening is seeing this sort of rubbish post-fight. A great many people thought the 'old legend' would school Khan, before taking him out with one good shot to that famed 'glass chin'.
In that respect, Khan could never win. If he looks impressive, as he did, it's because Barrera is 'shot'. If he loses, Barrera is just fine, but Khan is an over-hyped bum. If it's a close fight, and Khan gets the UD, it's only because of biased English judges and we get yawn stories for months about how Barrera actually won. Etc., etc., etc.Comment

The praise is because of what happened to khan 2 fights ago, and because of what stage hes at in his career right nowComment
