pretty much most people who follow boxing seriously, as opposed to those who only follow big fights

Agreed. The winner of this bout imposes their will. If Taylor still has confidence issues - which Froch doesn't lack in AT ALL - he'll find himself in serious dog poo.

Froch isn't a mug, I used to train at the same amateur gym for a while when I was around 16, Froch would have been about 10 or 11 at the time. The kids were just finishing up when the teenagers/young men were coming in, Carl stood out to me back then because even at that young age there was something about him when I saw him in the ring... years went by and the next thing I knew he was a Pro..

Say what you will but he's a decent guy away from all the fight talk, my son's school friend saw Froch in the local supermarket, Carl took the time to talk to the boy and sign an autograph etc.

        He's alright

No idea on the outcome of this fight, should be good though.

Froch is actually one of the most modest guys in the business, not that fake modesty that Hatton pretends to have.

He's a good boxer Froch and I think he'll beat Taylor.

If Taylor puts on his boxing shoes I don't see how he can lose. Froch isn't hard to hit. On the other hand, if Taylor goes back to his bad habits then Froch will most likely knock him out. Like Pavlik, Froch is a puncher. We all know what Froch is going to do in this fight. The question is, what about Taylor?

LOL! I love the image your metaphor creates. I've seen boxers slip on water in the ring, but not on dog poo!
