    Friday Fight Night.

    Did anyone watch it??

what did you make of mcclosley? First time I've seen him but think he leaves himself wide open because he's always looking for the big puch. Can't help but think he'll get knocked out if he continues to box like that. saying that, he moved well and looked hard to hit him at times.

Appleby looked very good, as did troy james.

i dont think he relies on one punch
in his fight against bazan he covered himself very well
and to survive a fight against yori boy campas u really need defense and a decent chin

I thought he was pretty good, kept me entertained. Threw some nice combos and his defence wasnt bad.
Also that Barry Mcguigan prospect looked pretty sharp for only his 2nd fight. One to watch

I was very dissapointed with the whole card apart from the chap from Birkenhead who won ten national titles amateur, cant remember his name. As for McGuigans boy, classic front runner, looks good dishing it out but **** taking it, which he did against a guy who was 0-3, early days though. Full respect to his opponent who took some terriffic shots body and head but was still giving his all at the final bell.
