    Jorge Linares?

I haven't seen him fight but I heard nothing but good things about him. He will be fighting in my hometown on 4/25 and I'm thinking of watching him live or staying in and watching Taylor/Froch, a fight I've been looking forward to since it was signed. Help me out NSB!

I thought he got injured again and that fight was off. Or maybe that is when it got resheduled to.

Linares is pretty sweet he is a joy to watch, he just seems to get injured quite often. So just make sure he is actually fighting.

He just moved up to S. featherweight and fought Garcia for the WBA belt.
If you have a chance to watch him live then go for it!!
Dude is the new Alexis Arguello!! Very skilled and very fun to watch.

He could be THE future, actually. Seems to be a P4P fighter waiting to happen.

It's still scheduled on boxrec, so who knows.

            .
I looked for the article I saw that info in, it was one of Steve Kim's recent columns. I think I saw it even before that, but can't recall where.

I used to be real big on Linares, but he seems to get injured in training a lot which is never a good thing. It is hard for him to build any real career momentum because he fights once, get injured then fights, then gets injured again. I hope he can break that cycle soon and put together a real good run.
