Nah. I'm amazed anyone thought Paulie would beat Hatton. How can a guy that can't hurt you do anything?

    He can't.

    I really is that simple.

Why would he need to slow down? The only reason would be if he had gotten hurt and had to be cautious. If you are not getting hurt, you walk through anything the opponent can throw at you.

Malignaggi doesn't compare to Pacquiao in any way.

I think some of you are underestimating Hatton.

I wouldn't be surprised if Hatton ko'd Manny. Some of you are taking Hatton lightly.

A lot of people underestimate Hatton most predicted he would lose all of his last five fights, perhaps excluding Lazcano, however he only lost one, out of his own weight, to a fantastic p4p number 1 (superior to manny) If hatton turns up at 100% for this fight he will win by KO

I know that's a contradiction, but so are a lot of the posters around here.
I often wonder the same things. Then I get talked **** to because people like that say I am biased.

I do favor Manny to win, but Hatton has a shot. In boxing there is no such thing as a sure thing.

I will not consider Cotto truly back until he beats Clottey, which I think he will do but he still has to prove it.

I was one of those who thought Paulie was going to outbox Hatton becuz of his fast hands and slickness and how he fought against Cotto but i was dead wrong and Hatton didnt even hold he just str8 up was the better man that night..Thats why im giving the benefit of the doubt to Hatton on this one although Pacman is no Malignaggi..i just think Hatton is not as one-dimensional as people think..the man can box when he has to and he can hold and tire u out if he wants to..I got Hatton on this one

I honestly only see Hatton losing this if he is out of shape or something, he has looked so good in most of his figts at 140, I don't see Pac staying with him, Hatton will bully and Maul him, I don't think Pac is strong enough at 140 to hurt him, Did you see how many flush shots landed on the wraith like version of DLH, and never looked like scoring a knockdown, Hatton will take those shots even better than that dlh did.

I would've given Hatton more of a chance to beat Pacquiao had he fought a more competitive fighter in Malignaggi and beat him spectacularly; much the same way Cotto fought and beat his opponent in his comeback fight.
Cotto looked as if he didn't miss a beat despite the layoff.

To his credit, Ricky won against Paulie, but perhaps Paulie didn't serve as great a tune up for Manny as there could have been.

The x factor in Ricky's performance will be how well he has been incorporating the coaching of Floyd Sr. and his execution of it come fight night.

Ricky didn't appear shot against Paulie and could turn the tables on Manny's winning streak if his stars align correctly on May 2.

If he does grow old against Manny, but loses on his feet, he should consider re-learning a lot of what brought him to the top in terms of fighting strategy.
