Hopkins is known as an extremely dedicated gym rat/health nut. Even another gym rat who Hopkins is often compared to, Hagler, was known to enjoy beers from time to time during his career.

By most accounts, Hopkins never drinks and always watches what he eats. He says he's never even eaten a donut in over 20 years because it's fattening and unhealthy.

Now some fighters may lie about exactly how dedicated they are, but judging by Hopkins's ridiculous athletic performance in middle age, I'm inclined to believe him.
