Richardson > Roach, in my opinion.
You aren't going to counter it because he hasn't trained anyone else.
Roach at least has some recognizable name under his belt.

btw, I don't like Roach either. He has gotten on my nerves as of late.

      that's a lot of work......

you don't like roach , sin?

      i like roach.

if i was a fighter and had a pick i'd go with roach and then mcgirt (i can't go to nacho since i don't speak spanish)

i'd never go with the mayweathers or steward.
If you went with McGirt, everytime you were being slightly outworked he'd say "I gotta throw in the towel, baby!" and you'd lose.

All I'm saying is that Richardson has playe an intregal role in Hopkins' camp since he joined. While Fisher was the "headmaster" in the corner for most of that time, Richardson was always the one that came up with the fight plans for Hopkins.

No disrespect to Bouie either, I really admire that guy.

And let's see how the young guns Richardson is currently working with turn out. I believe he has some nephews he's working with who are pretty decent pros already.

I meet him before and he was a nice guy but he has just talked to much **** as of late and his head has gotten too big for his own good.
Nacho trains a few young guys from what I hear.. He's been with the Marquez bro's since they where children.

            buddy is being rated unfairly.

i think he is a very good trainer.

the rap about his fighters always losing and him quick to throw the towel is unwarranted.

his fighters are underdogs most of the time , they weren't suppose to win anyway.

plus most of his stoppages were when his guy has taken a beating and had NO chance of winning.

guys like gatti DON'T beat guys like floyd.

guys like malignaggi DON'T beat guys like hatton.

he just doesn't want his fighters to get too hurt.

              it's just perception.

he's been in a lot of high profile fights lately.

with hatton-pac and oscar-pac (guys who don't do much trash talk) roach had to do the trashtalking for them.

remember pac's english is not very good.

              he's just doing his job.

the other stuff......he's getting interviewed by a lot of people. he has to promote his fighter. if pac was fighting wlad , roach would STILL have to say pac has a chance. it's his fighter.

                This I can agree with.

I also don't like his attitude as of late. Part of me wishes Hatton would wreck Manny so maybe Freddie would come back to earth. But then I think of all the Hatton lovers, and how they'd rate Ricky #1P4P for winning.....and it's not worth it.

The thing that pissed me off about Roach most recently had nothing to do with Ricky or Oscar. It was the way he went public with Mike Tyson's personal business.

If you don't want to give Mike a job, fine, don't give Mike a job.

But don't turn around and tell everybody in the world about it.

I'm sure Mike already felt like **** as it is, even having to ask for the job.

My cousin Hardy trained at Wild Card for a while.. there's soo much **** that goes on in the back as well.. He has really gotten money hungry. Justin Fortune didn't leave for no reason.
Justine was training a fighter for a fight and worked with him the whole camp, he was going to come to Vegas for his fight and last minute Roach shows says that he is working the corner that night (after Fortune did all the work) and getting payed for it..
