    Slick pressure fighters

Usually in boxing you have a couple styles. the slick defensive minded style, or the pressure fighting, dont let your opponent breath style.

I was thinking, is there any top fighter like that today? I mean you never really see that style. I always though watching Duran vids in his prime, that he was actually pretty slick for being offensive

Kirkland tries to be somewhat, Tyson kinda was. Duran a whole other level though.

Right now, Cotto is a slick pressure guy. His defense has improved, it had to because he was chinny at 140. He doesn't get tagged much, and he throws quite a bit of punches on the way in and while he's inside.

JMM kind of but he is more of a offensive minded boxer as opposed to a slick defensive boxer. He is not affraid to take 1 to give out a couple, his defense is kind of subtle and he adjusts so it gets better as the fights wear on.

Really the best boxing pressure fighter recently is Calzaghe, he never really ever took a beating yet threw a bunch of punches.

There is no one like Duran though, that is why he is thought of so highly and is so special. Harry Greb if you looking to go real old school

Pac did a good job of it against Diaz and DLH. He never stopped throwin combos, but he wasn't just flailin, he was movin around in circles and makin the pressure look skillful.

cotto's not a slick pressure fighter... he's a puncher boxer.

you cant be slick and pressure at the same time, i think thats a paradox.

How come you cant? Slipping punches and head movement is a sign of being slick.
