Prime Nigel Benn

As a Londoner, who by chance is also from Peckham, i'd say Benn was truly one of the greatest British boxers of all time. A box office super mid who gained respect, and fans, on both sides of the pond.

Tho i resepct JC, Nigel simply dominates him with excitement. I'm far, far more proud of Benn's career then i am with Joe's.

What are other peoples thoughts on Nigel Benn, especially those of you from the States?

I think of him as a 'world fighter' i.e somebody everyone would want to watch. Same as RJJ, Tyson etc.

We need more of his kind.

exactly, he would of destroyed Roy Jones had they ever fought at middleweight or SMW, but Jones ducked him. I dont blame him at all

Im not too sure. Would love to have seen it. Neither 'ducked' i think that's a bit disrespectful. It's just one of those fights that slipped the net.
