Did Pacquiao gain his aura of invincibility by beating Diaz/DLH?

Did he? I think i remember after beating Marquez controversially he was regarded as being graet.

But when he beat a C level fighter David Diaz and way past prime weight drained DLH he all of a sudden was named as best in the world by a mile.

    Why?

Floyd Mayweather retired and Pacquiao was #2 p4p. The other person competing for the #1 spot after PBF retired as well. So after Calzaghe, JMM is the next best fighter, and he lost to Pacquiao.

And everyone should know that he is not miles ahead of JMM.

After the DLH fight, there were threads like Pac vs. Hearns, Pac vs. SRR etc. etc.

He's #1 p4p. That's all. No one regards him as invincible.

Actually there was a thread Pac vs. SRR and many posters picked Pac by KO in the poll. There was a poster that said that he was going to make a Pac vs. Hearns thread but decided not to lol.

Agreed. He obviously isn't invincible with 2 losses by KO and 2 draws.
