Be aired on HBO and not PPV like Margarito-Mosley was on regular HBO, especially since the Pavlik-Margairto-Chavez PPV will be a week or month after.

If they get a good undercard, better believe it'll be PPV.

Pavlik's fight is a Top Rank PPV, nothing to do with HBO.

I thought Margarito-Mosley was regular HBO???

And no, there is no chance in hell that Cotto-Clottey is going PPV.
HBO will buy that fight because it's a competitive fight between two of boxing's bigger names. (Even though the average fan wouldn't know Clottey from anyone else)

No reason for this fight to be on PPV. it wont do more than 250K. Cotto's ppv numbers were growing untill his loss occured. But still nothing to invest hugely in.

unless the Pav/Cotto ppv got some good numbers, i dont see any financial sense in making it PPV. just limiting Cotto and Clottey to prospective fans.

HBO will put up the money for this fight because it's a quality fight and they know people will tune in to HBO to see it.
