which one fight will define floyd mayweather as a fighter

presuming he's retired for good, which fight is remembered as his best performance (or just biggest win against toughest opponent). i'll have to go with the tko over hatton.

hatton was unbeaten going into the fight and mayweather schooled him in the 2nd half of the fight.

The closest thing he has to a loss is the 1st Castillo fight, which most have always believed he lost even before it became popular to hate him the last couple yrs. So beatin him handily is the 2nd time is his best win imo. Hatton and DLH were big $ fights, but everybody knew he was gonna beat those 2.

The Hatton performance was good, but I think the 2nd half was as much to do with Hatton getting reckless after the ****** point deduction as Mayweather's skill.

Maybe the Corrales fight. That was damn impressive.

Hatton will be the most remembered by the average fan, but Corrales was his true masterpiece against top competition (Gatti was a more perfect fight, but the caliber of opponent was lesser).

Agreed...I think that may be his best.

His performances against Corrales and Gatti were his best but I think more prople will remember him for the DLH fight more than any other, just because of how big the fight was.

Definitely the Corrales fight, he was superb in it. And he was actually the underdog. All other fights he was pretty much favored to win.
