  • Will Rocky Juarez ever win a title?

Or will he be one of those "good" fighters who never gets a belt?

I think he will eventually, alot of people don't know about Chris John...he's like a JMM with better movement and better speed. JMM and John throw similar combinations when you look at their fights. Rocky Juarez has the talent but he really needs to let his hands go, he almost K.O John in the final two rounds because he let his hands go, Shields always says Juarez has amazing potential but he's too focused on fighting perfect that he forgets to just let em rip.

No he won't. He'll get like 5 more title shots though.

I don't think so, the divisions where he fights are getting packed with talent right now. He will never get pass 'gatekeeper' category.

No he wont. With gamboa rising up, Juanma, vazquez and Caballero moving up to 126, he have no chance, and at 130 his power is not the same. SO no.

Hell be a very good gatekeeper!!!!!!!!!!!

I beg to disagree with y'all.

With all the major alphabet belts floating around nowadays, a title vacancy is somehow imminent.

Juarez will win a major title (but it doesn't mean that he'll be recognized as the 'champ').

If he doesn't, I don't know if anyone would mention him in the same breath as Charley Burley, Sam Langford...

But, I think he'll have a good chance of being mentioned in the same sentence as Benny Briscoe who had the misfortune of fighting in an era that had Hagler, Monzon, Valdez, Antoufermo, Griffith...

                    That's what I think.

You have to remember too that all of Juarez's attempts have come against elite fighters.
