Lederman had it right. 6-4 DLH thru 10. The end result is what matters, but the fact that Vargas lost seems to make cats think it was pure ownage all the way. That was a damn good fight.

I thought Feroz could have easily won this fight but chose to try and BOX DeLaHoya which was a mistake.
Fernando had most of his success in the fight by brawling not boxing.
Feroz was MUCH stronger than DeLaHoya and should have EASILY knocked him out.
Also Oscars belt line was a complete ****ing scandal....how the **** they allowed that I will never know.
When you have a boxer that is primarily known as a brawler and body puncher
and then his oppenent is allowed to have not only a high belt line but added material to cushion the blows .........well.........I just dont understand it.
And you see that sort of thing from time to time were the referee should make them correct that on the spot.
But I feel Feroz got tired and thats why he got knocked out.
Notice in his fight with Quartey his stamina was very good but not in his fight with Oscar.
Feroz was walking through all of Oscars shots early in the fight.
I blame his trainers for this because he looked real stiff and mechanical too.
Im not an Oscar hater but I hate that Vargas lost that fight because I know he is the better fighter.

Vargas looked to be rushing him out of there in the first round though

Once the pace settled down it was all Hoya

Ho. The Quartey fight was by far his most entertaining. The judges got it wrong though.

There was no hand shake. Vargas left in a huff after Buffer gave the official time.
