Both camps are not denying that their respective fighters are placing their careers on the line in Manchester on Saturday. Marco Antonio Barrera returned last year after a brief retirement and sees Khan as a stepping stone to winning a fourth title in his fourth weight division. He admits that a loss may end his career. Khan, trying to rebuild himself after being knocked out last September by Breidis Prescott in 54-seconds, says that a loss to Barrera, who is no longer at his best, will cripple his stock as an upper-tier fighter. Khan career is on the line not MAB. if MAB loses then so what, he's old and past his prime. but if Khan loses then he's an overrated british hype jobComment

I would love to see MAB bash Khan to a pulp, but I have come to realize that it will not happen. I still hope Barerra wins.Comment

For Khan I agree.
He'd never get out of domestic level and end up like Audrey Harrison if he gets KO'd by a 20-year-veteran whose prime years were at superbantam.Comment

MAB's career isn't really on the line. This should be his last hurrah even if he wins this.
This fight is Khans career, if he can't beat MAB, he should retire.Comment

If khan gets beat though do not expect the dude to retire..
I think he would have one last crack at it before opening up a taxi firm in bolton
If Mab gets beat its gotta be bye bye
Who the *** is gonna let him off the hook getting beat by khanComment

once Khans been skooled out foxed and counterd to **** and if Barrera looks revivedi think we could see Barrera in some massive fights, reamtches with Pac and JMM could be on the cards, faling that he is definetly geting that title, i think we could see a slightly more aggressive Barrera than ppl are expecting, he has had his break he is motivated and has a clear goal, Khans getting chewd up and spat out.Comment
