Apparently these old men have a way of giving one last hurrah when on the big stage in a major fight. If Khan is simply banking on being younger then he's fucd if Barrera comes into the ring not completely shot. The strategy of Youth goes out the window if the old guy decides not too be old, and you can bet Khan is going into deep waters if that's the case. This is an awesome matchup.

He has pretty much all of the advantages if Roach has instilled any sort of defence into his boxing. If Khan doesn't leave himself open, I can't see Barrera winning by decision. But there's always the chance that Khan will leave his chin hanging out to dry. It's going to be very interesting on Saturday. Got Man Utd vs Liverpool on 12:45, Wales vs Italy at 3:00 then the boxing. Going to be a good weekend I think!

And because of that you also can't help thinking that like you say, You can't see Khan going the WHOLE night without getting tagged.. and it's obvious now.. you just need to land Flush...
SO can MAB land.. before Khan beats the **** out of him too much????
I am almost certain MAB can..

Sure he could knock him down, but I doubt he ends it. Prescott didn't end it with one punch even if he did wobble him with a jab.
Khan' recovery is actually pretty good, if he learned some survival tactics in the gym he can get his legs back under him. Khan is a superbly conditioned athlete at the very least.
If Barrera puts him away it's because he beats him down over a period of time. I agree with the thread questioning Barrera as a concusive puncher at lightweight but then again Willie Limond was a complete non-puncher but that was when Khan thought it was against the rules for the other guy to counterpunch.
If Khan keeps it long, I honestly can't see how he can lose this, the more I think about it.
