    Marciano had been retired for almost 15 years when he died at 46 years of age.

        but look if he would of went on he could of showed he had a great talent because he has never lost in his whole career and louis lost 3 and was ko twice!!

          Dude, did you not read TheManchine's post? What do you mean "went on?" The guy retired and died about 15 years later. wtf you don't know **** about marciano other than he was undefeated do you? Or are you an alt and this is some kind of calzaghe joke comparison thread?

                The funny thing about Marciano is he was overrated a few decades back. Everyone talked about him like he couldn't be beat.

                Now, people think he's a bum. They say he was undersized and couldn't beat any of the modern HW.

                The truth is, he is an ATG, one of the greatest fighters of all time and definitely one of the toughest. He was undersized but you can't compaire fighters to different era's when talking about his legacy, you have to campaire him to his own era.

                  Can somebody respond to this..Is it true that when u calculate the average of all of Marciano's 49 opponents age, it averages to like 35 yrs old or something?
