sorry but you're a nut hugger.. maybe you can make an argument when comparing resumes at 147, but other than that you really cant compare.. last time i checked Cotto and his team wanted no part of Floyd at 140
I meant at 147 and I never said accomplished more, so take that **** out cha mouth..

Why are we even talking about a retired fighter?

WHY DIDN'T HE TALK THAT **** THEN???

Why didn't Cotto just tell Merchant and Kellerman he wanted to fight Mayweather when they asked his scary ass????

Cotto wanted NOTHING to do with Floyd at any weight.

Ummm, maybe because he's a World Champion on the verge to unify?

Can you say the same about Floyd?

Arum told him to say that and he obeyed just like the little lamb his is.

Let's see Cotto win a Title at 154.

look at floyds last two fights he fought an old DLH and it was a very very close fight and he knocked out a much much smaller hatton...

Why did floyd fight them and not another top welterweight like mosley cotto williams at the time and margarito? the answer is because floyd was scared and he only fights for money, he is a heartless coward...

Cotto fought Margacheato when he was perhaps the most avoided fighters in the world, i mean gayweather truened down like an 8mill guarentee to fight him(tho im not suprised by that) and even tho cotto lost to him he still had the balls to fight him when he was on top of the welterweight division meaning he knew he had alot to loose if he lost.

                Now cotto has beat jennings in his comeback fight from a brutal ko and he was presented a list of three fights to choose from;
                1) Cintron- a fight almost everyone knows cotto would win and it would most like likely make him more money than a fight with Clottey becaue of the fact that 2 puerto ricans would be fighting on the eve of the puerto rican day prade in new york that is jammed with puerto ricans.
                2) Berto- said he was willling to fight cotto, and cotto would be a big favorite in this fight, and would also most likely make more money for cotto than fighting clottey. and who out the doesnt want that beautiful WBC belt in their collection?

But no cotto took the hard fight with clottey, who is like margacheato one of the most avoided fighters in boxing. Cotto took the fight against the best guy for the least money......

boxing needs more miguel cottos and floyd should not be able to even buy the fight at home.....

good luck Miguel... in the words of ricky hatton, lets ***ing have emmmm....

He wil fight anyone not named Paul Williams.

I expect Cotto to win if all things are equal (pretty easily at that). Clottey is pretty unproven at the highest level at the sport, and what he has shown me at the highest level does not make me think that highly of him. If Cotto is not where he needs to be at mentally, is the only way I give Clottey a shot (this includes if Clottey can effect him mentally in such a way).

He is better then Jennings though, and is pretty good, he deserves a chance to prove his worth at the highest level. I just have doubts about his overall ability to beat a worldclass foe (frusterated, fouling and fading, more or less a front runner).

Cotto has NEVER said he has no interest in fighting Floyd. Had the fight been presented to him, he would've had no problem taking it. Even u know that.

And lets not talk about trying to pry the words out of anyone's mouth.
