the boxing orgs make money sanctioning title fights.

less champs , less sanctionings , less money.

why do you think orgs have a champ and super champ now? now they get money for fights for 2 belts in a division.

I'm good with 4, no seriously...I am. Everything is going GREAT at 147! We got Cotto vs Clottey, IF Cotto can get past Clottey, he'll then rematch SSM and we'll have a WW king...then theu can get a crack at Berto, who should then be ready

Good point but then, if we only had 1 belt per division...too many great fighters will become unknown to us

Really, alot of people think its a good idea but I disagree

so thats what u wanna see a whole lot of mediocre boxers rather than a smaller group of more elite figthers and it will also push the boxer to be better just a thought

                  what you talking about?

                  williams-marg , mosley-marg , marg-cotto , cotto-mosley , quintana-williams , cotto-quintana , marg-clottey.....

every top welterweight has been fighting other top welterweights.

name a single top welterweight who hasn't been fighting the other top guys.
