Will fat yanks accept him as one of the atgs if he wins?
Please do not attempt to take much credit for beating Castillo.

Haven't you heard, British fighters are not allowed to be given credit by the boxing community. Excuses are laid long before as a means to discredit them.

Although Hatton is not an ATG.

No. He's a good fighter but not an ATG. His resume, even with a win over Pac, does not merit recognition in the ATG list. HOF, yes.

              4 wins.

In fact a lot of the bitching on here has been about wins.

It matters not how you win as long as you win as Floyd fans will telly you.

Imo he's an atg if he beats Pac.

But he won't stop there, he'll go after Cotto/Marquez/Mayweather/De La Hoya...whoever

thats the mark of a true champ

This mythical "ATG"stuff is never truly explained by anyone on here. Has someone actually bothered coming up with a list?

I dont believe in it. The game has changed so much through the years with money, politics, tv etc playing a much bigger role. The environment is so different so I dont see how you can directly compare the best from today to the best from other eras.

All you can do is be comparable to your peers and judged by your generation. IMO.

I watched the fight again just recently, I called it spot-on and the HBO commentary team were with me all the way - even criticising Cortez (and they're even fat Americans!)
