The move will allow Marquez additional scheduling flexibility to achieve his place in boxing history and for the good of the sport. The vote was unanimous."

Looks like he aint gotta defend against WBO mandatories if he don't want to. Will the WBA elevate him to Super Champ status as well (or have they already)? Sounds like Super Fights for JMM.

heck, jennings was number one contender of wbo against cotto, but cotto made him look like a tomato can that he really is...

really @ this point in his career, belts from these sanctioning bodies mean very little to jmm now... he wants mayweather who practically is retired thereby not having any belts, and pacquiao who recently vacated his own belt some weeks ago...

So did I. To answer a previous question, he is already the WBA super champion, as he has more than one major title.
