Props to both fighters for this fight. (We - the Kessler fans envious you big time)

This is a great match up. Far to much "prime this vs prime that" or ""he was shut and if only ......." on here - who actually cares ??

      - 2 prime fighters
      - "Us-finest" vs. "Eu-trash"

A boxing match for real ...................

Lol, why is it poeple think that?

The 2nd fight was very close, I had it a draw I think.

But Froch doesnt bring what pavlik brings, I dont think he is as good with straight punches, I dont think his workrate is as good, I dont think he is as open as froch to straight rights.

Froch is in for a shock.

Taylor looks better at 168, his hands are higher (particularly that left) and he is far more talented than froch.

Expect taylor to circle and fire single/double jab right to hand leads all day at froch.

            Taylor UD.

You're right that he doesn't bring what Pavlik brings, they're very different. And I think you're right about what Taylor's game plan will be. But I think Froch is under-estimated by many. He doesn't have Pavlik's workrate, but he fights with real intensity, and has a very good jab. I think he'll be able to put Taylor under pressure and it'll be interesting to see how well Taylor copes with that.

The ones picking Taylor are more likely to be in for a surprise than they think.

What has Taylor done over the last 4 years? Lost twice to a limited fighter in Pavlik who knocked him out and controlled him with his jab in the second fight. Beat Lacy. Many will argue that Lacy is a bum. Sure he has wins over Hopkins but Hopkins did very little in their fights. Got a split decision against Cory Spinks. Had a close fight with Winky. His last KO was in 2005 over Daniel Edouard (16-0-2).

Taylor hasn't fought anyone with the unorthodox style of Froch. Froch hits harder than Pavlik. He has never been put on the canvas in his amateur or professional career. He has the height of Taylor but is much more settled in at SMW.

Don't get me wrong, I do like JT, and I don't particularly like Froch -- I have no bias for this fight -- but Froch is being underestimated by many. If Carl watches the tape from the Pascal fight and notices that he needs to work behind his jab, he will control Taylor and possibly knock him out.

                  IMO.

I agree that Taylor hasn't lived up to his potential over the last few years but I think at the same time your trying to downplay him a little. You seem to be suggesting that Hopkins voluntarily choose not to do much when it reality I believe it was because he had no choice because Taylor's quick flurries gave him fits, just like Pavlik couldn't get off because of Hopkins' movement. It would be a very weak excuse to say Hopkins only won because Pavlik couldn't get off.

The fact that he hasn't had a KO since '05 doesn't really mean a lot when you consider who he's faced. Prior to that he had an 85% KO ratio. The only two fighters that you can say he maybe should have KO'ed would be Spinks and Ouma. Spinks ran the entire night so you have to cut him a little slack for that. Hopkins, Wright, and Pavlik have never been KO'ed and he came very close to getting Pavlik out who IMO has proven to have a great chin as he showed against Miranda and Hopkins.

I haven't seen much of Froch so I'll reserve judgment about who I think will actually win until I watch some vids but I just wanted to point out a couple things.
