The most known enforcers right now are a paramilitary group called Los Zetas.

Los Zetas is a criminal gang that operates as a hired mercenary army for Mexico's Gulf Cartel.[1][2][3][4] The group is mostly composed of ex-soldiers now led by Heriberto "The Executioner" Lazcano. There is a faction of them though thats fighting for power within the cartel. They aren't just in Mexico, they have operatives all over the south. I know some are based here in Austin, San Antonio, Houston, Dallas, Atlanta, Arkansas, Oklahoma and Miami.

Anyway, these dudes have cleaned out entire villages in mexico including woman and children. Here's what they work with..
