Kassim Ouma could have a nice story, but he's not really a big enough name. Still though, child soldier becomes a world class boxing champion? Sounds good to me. Cinderella Man splashed with a little Blood Diamond.

A Salvador Sanchez story could be a nice biopic.

"The Hammer" yeah, that was a funny movie. Not super funny, but it was entertaining. It's about amateur boxing which is what most people can relate to.

It had some funny moments. I'd add it to my DVD collection.

Try not to pick Johnny Tapia, that's too obvious.


Speaking of boxing movies, if you wanna check out a decent/funny one, try The Hammer. It's actually pretty good for a comedy about boxing.

LMFAO! That film does actually look quite good, obviously it isn't anything serious or anything that tries to send a message across like Rocky films (I am not too keen on them, there pretty good but I prefer normal Boxing) but it looks like it would be a good comedy to watch.

I liked the part where he said "I'm gonna be gassed out by the 10th round boss!"... "Its only a 4 round fight?!", "Thank god, I am already gassed out!"

Muhammed Ali (a good one)
Tyson (I heard there is already one being made but it is still interesting)
Manny Pacquiao in a few years (sounds like a decent story of his upbringing)
Floyd Mayweather (though this would probably be the least favored to be made... even with him being my favorite boxer).
Bernard Hopkins (he has a great story which would make a great movie)
Joe Calzaghe (not a big choice but descent as he got bullied as a child, etc.)
Many more

Some of them I listed wouldn't be my first choice as I stated... but the most interesting I would find to see would be between Robinson, Hopkins, Tyson and Ali.
