I can't believe people are so quick to say that Guerrero "quit" because he was "afraid" of this kid.

Yordan landed a couple nice combos, in between holding every 10 seconds. None of them discouraged Guerrero who could have walked through Yordan all night until Yordan went down.

Bottom line is that had the fight continued Yordan would have been DQ'ed for excessive clinching by the 5th or 6th round. Anyone thinking he was on his way to upsetting he ghost has been puffing on Uncles Kicking Horse's peace pipe.

I think Guerrero would have won, it was a close fight. I do think the ref allowed Daud to hold excessively and it was still early. I don't know how that would have played out in the fight later on.

Guerrero had a serious cut but should have tried and fought on. I think the fight would have been stopped anyway in a round or two.
