I said this way before........even before the Margarito fight that Tito would be more popular. Cotto has had just as many exciting fights and is just as if not more exciting in the ring but Tito is a more gregarious and charismatic character.

But I agree with you that in the eyes of many he won't surpass Tito. I prefer Cotto to Tito by a long shot, but I know most don't. I always found Tito kind of annoying.
