what about mosley and malignaggi
he beat them and what about ricardo torres.
those were all tough fighters and he didnt just plow right through them.
he IS a warrior and if we ever find out marg had anything in his gloves for the cotto fight then what will you say then. he fought marg and fought valiantly and beat up marg and marg kept coming forward while cotto KEPT punching.
if that isn't a warrior then what the **** is?Comment

I remember when Cintron knocked out Matthysse everyone jumped on his bandwagon. Just because Ortiz looked impressive Saturday doesn't mean he can beat Hatton. I will admit he has skills, but let the guy have a few more fights before claiming he is the next great thing since sliced bread.Comment

From what I understand Ortiz is training at Top Notch here in Ventura, I could probably go catch him after a workout. Woot.
And nah, I dont see this kid being a Cintron. The Cintrons are actually pretty rare at the championship level.Comment

For my part, I'm in no hurry. Ortiz is young. He has skills and looks like he'll continue to improve them for awhile yet. I hope they don't ask him to start fightin' Bradelys and Hattons and Pacmans and JMMs, etc. just yet. Wouldn't bother me to see him beat up a Torres or a Judah or Paulie or like that for a few more fights before they throw him in w/the class of the division...Comment
