    How should Hopkins go about moving to Cruiser?

    It's been a pretty hot topic of late, so what do you think.

    1- Should he add a lot of weight, say around 190-200 range. This would give him te benefit of extra strength on the inside against bigger guys, but would hinder his speed advantage. Also, the extra weight may hinder his stamina IMO.

    or;

    2- Come in around 180-190, he wouldn't have the same strength as he would if he came in heavier, but would maintain his speed advantage over the bigger guys.

    I think he should come in around 185-190, so he isn't tiny against Adamek (I don't see him fighting any others) and can still do alright on the inside (Although preferably staying away from there), but wouldn't be risking his stamina and speed too much.

    What do you think?

    Come in heavy, look for extra strength and power.

    Come in lighter, maintain speed and more stamina (?)

    Stay light. One of his advantages over Adamek would be his movement.

        Simply adding excess weight will not greatly increase his strength. The benefit of the extra weight would be severely "outweighed" (sorry about the pun) by the decrease in speed and movement.

        Hopkins has the right idea.

                    Best of both at 190. I don't think he'd sacrifice anything infact. Ideal weight that.
