If Calzaghe is an ATG, he may very well have the worst resume for an ATG ever

I always love the way Fat Yanks say things like that as if the likes of Robert Allen, Howard Eastman and Antwun Echols are stellar HOF comp.

Of course, I forget that the world champions Calzaghe faced every so often were all "bum's, ever ain't not been on hbo, lamo, pwn!"

I DID vote for Bore Hard, but the difference is nowhere NEAR as marked as the average Fat Yank likes to make out.

One of them ended their career fighting a corpse of Roy Jones.

The other elected not to, knowing it would be easy pickings and pointless and is instead chasing the man at Cruiserweight.

Calzaghe for sure, especially because he defeated Hopkins!

IBO statistics show they both have 25 wins over "top 50" rated opponents, the difference is Hopkins also has 4 losses and a draw against "top 50" opponents, while Joe is 25-0 against good opponents.

Did this thread really have to be made?

Of course Bernard has the better resume, but FFS, he fought as many average fighters as anybody else. Morade Hakkar? He's no better than Tocker Pudwill.

Bernard's is better mainly because of the big names like Oscar, Trinidad, etc., even though they were never gonna beat Hopkins anyway, he is bigger and he is just a better fighter. It is not a spectacular resume, but it is pretty solid.

Right........ Other than the Hopkins fight, which a sizable percentage of us think Hopkins won who the hell did Calzaghe ever fight?
