A reply i got on youtube to a James Toney vid

    Me

Mate Lewis wrecked Hoyfield, he was done after the Lewis fights. Benn wrecked De Witt too albeit Toney would of still schooled him regardless. His win over Rahman should be void, because he lost to Rahman imo. If James was not in shape for the Jones fight. That was his own problem.

He is a HOF, and a great fighter. I just felt i had to have a word , because your post is filled with biased towards Toney.

    The other dude

Lewis never wrecked Holyfield, he got a draw in their 1st fight and then Holyfield was robbed in their 2nd fight Lewis then refused to fight every No1 contender so was stripped of every version of the heavyweight title, Lewis was terrified to face John Ruiz because he could not handled Ruiz `Grappling Hook` style, yet James Toney had no problems beating Ruiz, Holyfield or Rahman.Toney out-grew the lighter weight divisions when Roy Jones outpointed him and i am sure Jones would destroy Benn by KO

Holyfield was on the downside before he fought Lewis and Holyfield still fought 2 good fights.
I wouldn't say he wrecked him it's just that age cought up to The Real Deal.

If Holyfield was in his prime i'm not so sure Toney would have won because Evander was on top of you non-stop in those days+had the power to take you out.

I don't think Lewis was ducking Ruiz by any means but I do agree that his style would have much harder than some of the other fights that Lewis took.

      Bigger risk less reward.
