Why not? Floyd doesn't just have one style: he can fight every style and even his worst style is better than everyone else's. Against Zab, Floyd chose to fight like a pressure fighter and he broke Zab down better than Cotto did and that's supposed to be Cotto's specialty. Only reason Floyd didn't knock Zab out was cuz Zab started a riot in the ring.
If Floyd felt like his normal style wasn't dominating Tszyu as much as he wanted it to (HIGHLY unlikely), then he would have just switched to a pressure style like Phillips' or Hatton's and KTFO Tszyu that way.
Because Mayweather wouldnt eat all the punches Philips ate before he cameback to KO tsyzu.

Zoo claimed he wanted to fight the best..then chose Hatton over Floyd..lol
You cant blame him for fighting Hatton who was his mandatory and he got like 4million pounds from Warren to come over here, I doubt Mayweather would even bring half of that pay at that time.
