        The advice you'l get mate is join a gym and learn the art of boxing or an mma gym . You have got **** loads to learn . You don't even look as if you know the basics . Keep your hands up , chin down , get your stance right

            I know I have bad technique, so I'm told and bad stance. I was told I do everything 100% wrong. If you notice in the vidoeos I switch from regular to southpaw a lot, I want to be versatile. I was told that's a bad idea. Eventually I want to learn MMA but I would like to learn some basic boxing and kicking first. I've had one bjj lesson for free.

            In these videos, I'm alrady pre-exhausted and sore from days before. I train almost everday this week. I had this heavy bag for 3 years. I was mainly focusing on my strength in the punches which I was told in technique > power.

            There are 4 videos, please watch them, give me any helpful advice you can. Constructive criticism, please dont bash me, I have anxiety/depression and low self esteem.

            Do I have any potential at being a fighter of any kind?

            by the way I learned that Everlast is a crappy brand. It's a 70 lbs bag held dodwn by a techrod (bowflex) held on by 7 chains and held down by a cement block. I wish I could hang it up
            Alright, I watched the first one. I don't even know where to start. Everything is wrong. Just do like hitmanhat said -- join a boxing gym and take it from there.

            You should maybe try not to lose your temper and be mean looking in your YouTube vids man, it's corny.

              okay so,

              Chin= down
              fists= sideways covering face
              footwork= left foot forward turned to the right at 45* angle
              footwork = right foot completely turned out 90* degree angle
              body: sideways

              Never drop your fists, especially below the waist, always keep fist up to block.

              What about knees? Do I need to lean into punches? What do I do with my shoulders? I remember someone saying I drop one of my shoulders.

              I only know what I Know from youtube and rocky movies.

                    You know there are instructional vids on youtube for boxing technique....yeah everyone on this forum is also correct about going to a gym and getting professional instruction....and when your ready start sparring, especially with more experienced fighters. You learn alot by getting batted around by someone more skilled than you.

                      Least this guy is humble, and recognizes that he isn't doing much right. Thats more than I can say for a certain other poster, who sucks but thinks he will be the next champ.
