He had Julio backing up all night, Julio barely ever had any weight behind his punches.

yeah, i was surprised that he walked through julio's shots. i thought that with some of those he would've stepped back or tried to get himself together, he just kept coming.

True, but there were SOME hard right hands that did land. In the 3rd I think and Kirkland just walked through them, Conyers had him all over the place.

Yeah, I agree. Julio never hit him with anything really big. Julio was backing way to much to land anything huge.

he wasn't on ***** street he was caught OFF BALANCE. And if you recall, he got up off the count of ONE and proceeded to beat the **** out of conyers. I've been telling people for a while now that it's bs to say he has a bad chin, the guy gets hit, yeah, but he walks through them for the most part. anyone will go down if they get caught off balance. Kirkland showed a bit of improvement as far as his balance, footwork and his overall positioning.

Yea, he was backing up to much to really put a lot of weight into the punches. Kinda like Cotto was doing with Margarito, cept for the fact Cotto was more accurate and not afraid to throw. Regardless though he did hit Kirkland a couple times with some hard rights...and Kirkland just took them like a jab.

                    Kirkland has a good chin
