i dont understand why julio decided to run so much..he would have had a better chance standing his ground.. that's definitelty not his style. u can just tell he was gonna run out of gas. still good win for kirkland. golden boy is not gonna put kirkland in with a natural mover like martinez or daniel santos anytime soon...

Really? Based on what? Alex Bunema who backed up all night, or Kermit who clearly doesn't belong anywhere near the big dogs @ 154. Kirkland is a whole different kettle of fish.

He ran because of the strength of Kirkland's punches and constant pressure. He couldnt keep him off of him..

Kirkland looked good tonight. He's definitely fun to watch and a pain in the ass for anybody he's fighting because of his non-stop style. I think one day he'll run into a good punch, but he'll do some damage along the way and always be fun to watch.

i agree that we dont really know how good or bad martinez is.. but i do know he can move really good.. kirkland hasnt seen anything like that.. julio moved but that's not what he is good at and he was able to catch james a few times.. but we'll see ..

Kirkland's made me a fan but Idk wat happens when he runs into some1 who can box and move or some1 who hits harder than he does. His D needs work but he's still pretty good.

I hear you...I was thinking Paul Williams might be the real truth machine that shows us who Kirkland really is...so far, the kid is Old School Tough! (just like Anne Wolf)
