The cut wasn't the worst cut ever, it wasn't Vitali Klitschko style, but it certainly wasn't insignificant either. That was a solid inch gash right above his eye and the butt that caused it was pretty hard. It was only going to get worse. You could tell it was bothering him big time.

But ask yourself this, had Guerrero been in against very soft opposition that he knew he would beat quickly, surely he would have kept on.

Tat was a ****** move by guerrero, there has been worst cuts than that. Ateast he should of tried to fight the 3rde round to see whats up.

And by no means yurdan is a dirty fighter. he was landing his right hand cleandly and move very good. He wasnt throwing intentional headbutts at all.

By the way I was rooting for Guerrero!!
dude did you see the cut??????? Blood was all over his eye. The cut is only going to get worse!!!! There's no point in continuing that fight. It's like an nfl team giving the opponent a 10 point lead to start the game. You should never lose over a cut on a head butt NEVER!!!!!! He did the right thing. He couldn't see there's no point in continuing to fight.

hey ****** you obviously don't know much about guerrero, the dude is a ***en warrior. Many have him as the best lightweight in the world. Watch some fights, do some history on a fighter before you starting typing away on your keyboard talking **** and making yourself look ******.

I love have you use double standars, you call Cotto a ***** and a quitter because he took te knees out of exhaustion against margarito, but Guerrero is a smart warrior because he quited over a not that bad cut!!!!!!!

Anyways the Cut wasnt as bad as you make i to be. As soon as they cleared the blood out of his eye, he wasnt bleeding or anything. Atleast he should of tried to figtht the 3rd round to see whats up

Your love for cotto is pathetic! Cotto got the fight beaten out of him, he quit! Robert had a ***en cut on his head with blood dripping all over his eye. Do you know how much blood is in your body?? do you think it's just a few drops or something? You can wipe it all you want it's going to keep coming out! The cut would have just gotten worse! Any fighter with sense would have stopped, there's no point in continuing. It's funny that some of you guys think guerrero was scared and would have lost

How do you know? You knew nothing about his opponent before he fought him and all you got to see from the kid was 1 1/2 rounds of competitive action. For all you and I know Yordan could have fallen over at the time Guerrero landed his first significant flush power punch...an utter cupcake.

Guerrero did take the practical, cautious, easy way out of the fight. Obviously to the publics dismay. Look at all of the **** he's taking right now. Implying he was on his way to a loss and he knew it so he quit is going a bit overboard. Guerrero is a good, young fighter and he was handling himself well up until the stoppage.

Hopefully these types of setbacks and decisions don't become a trend with him.

he knew yordan was going to be trouble so he took a no decision over a loss. what a shame.

Yea I was real let down by Guerrero. You'd think after all the time he lost he'd go all out to big statements in every fight he gets.
