Would Mayweather-Marquez be exciting?

Mayweather would be fighting a smaller fighter and would take more risks.

So yes, I think this fight would be exciting.

Good point. I imagine Mayweather would be more agressive. He would have to look impressive in his comeback fight too.

It will be a boring fight, a defensive fighter(Mayweather) vs. a counter puncher, there will be no agressor... Expect a 30 punch output everyround,..

~It will not be an exciting(like what Pac brings in the ring) but it is worth watching because they are both the best in terms of defense and technical boxing.

Did you just USE Mayweather and agressive in the same sentence? Mayweather's most entertaining fight was against Corrales and that's it. May-Marz would be downright awfull and the casual fans will once again say Boxing is boring etc,etc,etc. If PBF ain't coming back for Pacquiao then I hope he stays retired!

Why does everyone always say that? Before the Baldy fight, Floyd had 6 pretty exciting fights. He stopped 4 of those guys, dropped Chop twice, and had Zab on the ropes. Those fights were all against guys his size. He walked every single one of those guys down and threw alot of punches. He doesnt fight defensive against guys his own size, e****aly when there right handed. He will come forward all fight and throw a million punches against JMM because he wont fear Juan's size and I dont beleive he thinks a right handed guy can hit him with a clean punch while he's in his prime. Also, JMM is a counter puncher but its not like he's not an action fighter. It will be alot of punches landed but I think Floyd kills him and it wont last long.

Floyd vs JMM, Pac, Bradley, Berto, Shane, and all guys like that will be super exciting fights. I even think it would be exciting against Clottey because he doesnt fully come forward or impose his strength on you. As of now, fights against Cotto & Margarito would probably be really boring. Against those other guys he would be way more Offensive then people think

The most boring fight I think and I don't believe it will happen.... PBF is afraid of Cotto and Mosley if this happens... Both are bigger draw than Marquez...

I dont think it would be boring unless JMM takes a pressuring offense. If he pressures then Mayweather will go into his shell.

Otherwise imagine it like the Gatti fight. Mayweather will probably try to break him down quick because he knows JMM cant match him in speed and agility.
