Sorry if i come accross harsh mate, but i just don't like it when talented boxers like Joe blatantly waste their talent fighting mediocre fighters and passed it champions, then claim to be a boxing "legend" or whatever.

I don't want to say anything negative about Joe personally, i just don't rate his Boxing career, as it's over-rated with holes, and something it is not, if you see where i am coming from
I dont really see where you're coming from. The big fights came later in his career. He tried to get them earlier,(2001 Jones,2002 Hopkins),but it didnt pan out through no fault of his own.Personally I dont think any fighter should be fighting past their mid thirties unless they are up at heavyweight,so I dont see the point in seeing another fight where the outcome is probably going to be no different from the first, and even if it was what would it prove? oh,what, that Joe is a "fraud"? you already think that anyway,so him beating Hopkins again or losing to him isnt going to change anyones opinions for or against.

He does need motivation. He is one of those fighters (if not the only one) that needs big fights to bring out the best in him.

Personally, Americans are idiots in their logic to this fight. The 1st one was dull and boring as hell, yet people want to see the same **** again?!

Americans say Joe only fights old men, yet want to see him fight old man hopkns again?!

          **** outta here.

Many try to get big fights early in the careers, but that does not mean much.
Joe in 2001/2002 had 1 Belt. The WBO belt, and that too was in arguably one of the worst divisions in boxing.

I mean would Hopkins face current SMW WBO title Holder "Balzsay " ?

No, why? Because he is a small name with only 1 belt in a poor division. Let alone go to Hungary to face him.

Likewise, in 2001/2002 nobody was going to go Wales to face a nobody like Joe for 1 belt in a poor division. It's dumb and pointless.
Especially when Hopkins just beat Trinidad and was chasing after DLH, Vargas, Joppy and Winky at that time.

That is something Joe fans conveniently ignore

Hmm..and something Hopkins fans conveniently ignore is the fact that Hopkins agreed a fee with Calzaghe only to turn round 24 hours later and say he wanted double the sum he had previously agreed to and blah blah blah......

                Oh behave son,
If he was motivated to fight mandatories and sub-par fighters his entire career, why can't he get motivaded have a proper challenge?

You Joe fans are something else

Will Joe fight Chad Dawson and prove beyond doubt who the best at 175 is?

                    I dont think so.

But he fought Kessler and prove who the best at 168 was.
