The only way to legitimize PBF/JMM...

The only way to legitimize PBF/JMM as a real fight instead of a circus act, is for jmm to take a tune up at 147 (jmm can come under 147 if he wants) against a serious contender... say someone like collazo and beat him.

other than this pbf/jmm is a joke.

or for jmm to have at least one fight at 140 or better still a catch weight of 145 ... that being said pfb is not a huge ww or anything ... but marquez is really a feather weight imo.

i wouldnt consider it to be a complete joke cause then i feel thats not giving ebuf credit to jmm ... but the fight shouldnt happen. he should fight shane! i kno pac is a real popular fighter and everything but i dont get why people want pbf to fight pac over shane or cotto.

This fight won't happen. I can see PBF goin after Pac should he beat Hatton, but not JMM. And if he fights either it should be at 140. I still say he should fight a top WW or just stay retired period.

Marquez would pose more problems for Floyd imo. I think if hes smart he will go after Pacquiao.

I dont think the fight is a joke at all! JMM weighing 7lbs or so away from FM ain't that big of a deal. Pacquiao did it with a bigger guy. JMM is serious fighter. thats crazy to call it a joke. I hate JM but he does have a good but sicking defense. JMM doesnt but he is a warrior and can prevail against adversity. Something JM hasnt proved yet, but will have to against a class of fighter as JMM in THIS point in his career.

ok... but you get what I mean... JMM has to have a fight agaisnt a legitimate threat around 147-140 before this fight even approaches legitimacy as a real fight an dnot just a circus act

              pbf-jmm is not gonna happen.

if pac beats hatton , pac is a bigger fight and the fight jmm wants more than pbf.

if pbf is coming out of retirement , pac is also a bigger fight for him than jmm.

jmm is a lose-lose proposition for pbf.

I dont think there is a way to legitimize this fight at all,Marquez is a true superstar of the sport,so there is no way to call this a tuneup fight for Mayweather, both Marquez and the Pacman, are smaller opponents at 147,if Floyd makes a comeback, anything short of a welterweight elite,it just goes to show that his fans care more about him, than he does them!!!!

I think a lot of you are forgetting that Floyd has and always will be a smaller welterweight. Physically he really isn't that much bigger than a Zab Judah or Ricky Hatton who are both natural 140 pounders.
